Flashbacks:
Flashbacks is an extra piece of information about some of the characters past this gives the audience a clue about the character's past of how traumatic their childhoods have been also a flashback can be manipulated by space and time. One example of a flashback in a movie is Forest Gump when he remembers when he was in hospital when he is learning how to walk with leg calipers and when he is walking with his mother.
Point of view shots:
Point of view shots are shots from movies to show the same action view of the characters actions in the movie. Many movie genres have some point of view shots in the movies such as Jaws movies when the shark is targeting it's prey The genres are such as Romance, Sci-Fi, Horror and action.
This picture is one example of us doing a Point of view shot for our trailer and I was in the hospital bed for the scene when we planned for the main protagonist wakes up when he got a paper ball thrown at him by his classmates. We also filmed the scene of the 2 zombies disguised as doctors who are pretending they are good people but the protagonists doesn't know that they are zombies.
Impossible positions:
These are camera shots designed to give unusual perspectives of the action, such as an aerial shot. Some examples of impossible camera shot positions in the movie Life on Mars when the main character Sam Tyler wakes up next to a blue car next to Manchester highway he then goes to an alternate timeline he also sees a sign about Manchester highway.
