What are the “elements” of most film trailers? What specific techniques are used in trailers?
Some elements in film trailers use a structure called a three way structure what is very similar to a feature length film, One structure is by build up a central conflict of the film and introduce some scenes for a cliffhanger of the trailer, another structure is by introducing the main characters to give a clue to the viewers of who are the protagonists and antagonists of the film.
Who is the audience for the trailer that you have chosen? How do you know?
The audience for the movie trailer I have chosen a horror related movie to promote any viewers who like horror type movies and the trailer we have agreed to do as a group is we decided to include some horror related scenes in our own trailer we are going to be filming a horror film trailer for our project.
What is the length of most trailers? And why?
The length of most film trailers for movies are normally inbetween 1-3 minutes for each movie. The reason why most trailers are not that long is that they can reveal to much screen time in only a short video or teaser reveal. Another way trailers have to be 1-3 minutes they could spoil some of the important scenes in the movie.
Does watching a trailer make you desire more information? What is the primary purpose of the trailer?
The primary purpose of any trailers is to try and attract the audience towards the film another purpose is to make the film to create tension and persuade the viewers watching any trailer of what genre it is based of when the movie is being released.

At what point in the trailer are we told the name of the film? Why is this?
Why are we told who is starring in the film? How is this information given to us?
