Taking head shot pictures for cast and crew

Updated: Jun 3, 2024

What's the difference between cast and crew:

Cast: The cast is the people who play and act as a character for a movie or a TV show many the purpose of taking head shot pictures of the cast to show the audience of who the actors are playing and acting as in the movie or TV show.

Crew: The crew is the people who produce the filming and directors for the movies or TV shows The purpose of the crew is to show who was the camera operator and directors for any production.

The process we did to take the head shot pictures for the production is we had to put a yellow tape on the floor to indicate where we have to stand when we have our photos taken we also had to set up the lighting to make the pictures look bright the light also makes the room illuminate to increase brightness.

When we took our photos we had to look at the camera and stare at the camera and the photographer. In shot the camera was set up to a "RAW" file image because it is easy to edit. The problems when we took our photos is some of the cast members sometimes blinked when the camera was about to take the photo and we needed to move some of the lights to make the room more brighter.

Some of the photographs we took in the dark room were blurry and we have to re take our photos to make it really good quality and clear and not make it low quality and blurry what will be difficult to see.

Cast member 1: As you can see the left picture is the original spec picture whilst the right picture is the edited picture the left picture on the left is not bright and good quality when the right picture has a bright effect to make the picture less dark and blurry.

Cast member 2:

The left picture has a horrible quality and it's not bright when the right picture has a better brightness and lighting and i rotate the images to make a headshot image.

Cast member 3: N/A
