1) Review of my products:
• Does it feel like a real media project?
In my opinion the press pack copy I have made kind off looks like a page from an upcoming Netflix series, The ways I have made this look professional the top page of my press pack copy is adding the Netflix logo on the far left and the poster of the Netflix series on the right to make it look like a show coming to Netflix I also added the theme genres to show the viewers what type of genre the series is based off.
The posters I have been inspired by to make my poster for the production I have used examples from Red Sparrow by using the red light and the concept of red lights have an example of evil horror and scary. I have also used an example from The Forest and that is where I have got my background from.
• How does it do this?
The music I was influenced by using one piece of music from an anime soundtrack to make my trailer music the anime is called Dragon Ball Super and the soundtrack is called:
The reason I have added an anime soundtrack to make my trailer I researched some soundtracks what sounded dramatic and I found one what sound's dramatic and tension to make it fit for the theme for the project.
Another way I have been influenced by is by using green screen effects to make the poster for my Netflix series I added one of the pictures of when we did our head shots for our green screen workshop and added the main protagonist on the top of the poster to show that he is the main "hero" of the story.
2) Audience Response Final Product
Based on feedback from peers and teachers over the course of the unit do you believe you have successfully fulfilled the required brief? How well do you think you have done?
In my opinion The feedback I have received from from other peers in my class I have an average of 3 stars from the peers have voted on my press pack. By the results I have got given I may have slightly done well with this press pack I have done/created because I have got average results from some of the peers and I can make some improvements to future press packs in the course.
• Compare your production to the ones you looked at in your research
The poster I have created for the Netflix series I have chosen a forest background because one of the scenes in the trailer has been set placed in a forest area when the main protagonist is running away from the zombies in the forest area. The movie I have been inspired by to make this poster I have used the movie called "The forest" because it looks like a horror movie type poster and I attempted to replicate the forest background to make it look like a scary forest in horror movies.

The proposal I have created for the production I have listed the outcomes, themes, content and the technology skills of filming the trailers. Another way the proposal has benefited for the production is using the time plan what I have planned in February. We had to add the course plans on the plan of action box to indicate what tasks we have to do every single week and we needed to worked the same tasks for the weeks have planned so that we don't get confused about what blogs we needed to work on.
• Is the production and planning substantial and does it reflect 12 weeks of work?
The time plan for our production has worked for the past 12 weeks. For our firsts weeks we had a lot of time to plan and film our movie trailer and we learned about how green screen effects work in filming. Another way the time plan has worked is we had a lot of time to finish the press pack and start the evaluation to explain our progress of the filming and editing of the trailer of what we have filmed.
• How well did you work within the context of the project? (Time management, organisation of work)
Personally, I think I have done well during the time management for each posts I have worked on for the production and I have used my time well for working on every plan of actions I have made on my time plan, Another way I have worked well is working on my own website for the trailer and attempt of making my press pack look professional and adding some merch on the press pack to advertise the tv show and make it look popular for the public.
One way a time plan a planning document and a production schedule has helped me for this production is it has benefited me by planning what dates or weeks of what type of work I have to do. One example it has helped me is my group I have worked with have planned different times of when we will film the scenes for the trailer and what blogs we had to do for each week we had planned. In my opinion I think when I do my reflection I think i can revise more of any time plan and attempt to make some plans more detailed for any future projects I will do.
• How well do you believe your production followed the conventions of your production genre or style?
One way I have made the style and genre for the production the same as a horror movie type trailer. I have added the clips from the filming we did as a group and added the clips when the zombies are chasing the protagonist and that represents the theme and genre of horror when someone is being chased by a monster like they are in a living nightmare.
Another way I made this production a horror type is by making the poster look like something out of a horror movie, One way I have made the poster to look like a horror movie is using the text font for the main title of the movie to add a blood effect to make it look scary and I added the main protagonist on the top of the poster holding a red light and the color red represents evil.
Some conventions I have used for my production for my posters and the Netflix trailer for the Netflix poster I have created for the production I have added the Netflix logo to indicate the audience that this show or movie is made by Netflix and I have also added the sub headings to show that it is officially made by Netflix. Another convention I have made for my production I have made for the trailer I have made by using the clips for the filming we have done for the start of the trailer I have added the Netflix intro to indicate the viewers that the trailer is made by Netflix.
3) Problem Solving: discuss alternative ideas and solutions to any problems that came up during the production of the project
The problems we face during filming our production of our project is we had some issues about booking some classrooms if there is no lessons booked and we also have some issues about time wise about when we didn't finish an important scene for our trailer another issues we have had filming our project if any actors were not in to film in a scene there supposed to be in and that was one of a big disadvantage for our production if they are planned to be in any scene.
In my opinion I have improved my photoshop skills when making posters or cropping some pictures to add on a background to make it look professional I have also learned how to change a theme on a background to change the color and theme to make it look bright or black and white. Another skills I have learned in this course is learning how to use Wevideo to edit our recordings we have filmed and combine all of the clips to make a video.
4) What would you do differently next time / if you did it again?
In my opinion the issues I can improve to my press pack copy better is adding more merchandise to my press pack, because I have only 2 or 3 items on my press pack copy and I can add more items to make a big selection on the page.
If I would want to do this project for this production is I want my press pack page a bit more professional and make the items have more variety and more of a collection of what type of clothing or objects they could have.
If I was to do this project again, I would look at the planning of the initial project research has been useful is we have planned our filming locations and costumes or props for which certain character has to wear for the film trailer, Another way this was useful to our group was we planned the whole storyline for our trailer so we needed to film every certain point in the film trailer in order of what we have planned for our storyline to make it stand out.
This was the time plan I have made all the way back in February and I have predicted some of the dates of when we are going to do our plans for the trailer. We needed to do for the tasks we we planned for each week. Most of the times we met some deadlines for our plan of actions but rarely we have do film some scenes if we didn't have time to finish or if one of the cast members we're not in to film any scenes.
One way how I have developed my skills in the course I have done this year I have learned out to use photoshop properly and I have learned many new skills on photoshop such as using many type of objects tools on the app and changing the effects on any poster or a background of a picture this will benefit for any future projects for a company if they are working on a massive poster for an upcoming movie and I can use my skills of what I have learned to make the poster look professional.
My progression when I do level 3 next year.
If I do level 3 next year I can use my skills I have learned this year to show that I have made a lot of progress and attempt to make my work better and more professional for future projects in the course next year One thing I want to do next year for level 3 next year I want to do more photoshop skills to make my work a bit more professional and attempt to get a higher grade for next year.
